SPRING STRAWBERRY LINEUP ADDITION INCLUDES TWO GREAT ACTS

We are so pleased to announce that The Sweet Water Warblers and Mumbo Gumbo have joined the Spring Strawberry lineup.

The Sweet Water Warblers formed at the Hoxeyville Music Festival in 2014 and have since gelled into a potent vocal and instrumental force, consisting of Michigan songbirds, Rachel Davis, Lindsay Lou, and May Erlewine. With three-part harmonies that are sublime, they trade instruments including mountain fiddle, banjo, uke, and double bass, performing an eclectic repertoire of music that swings from gospel to bluegrass to soul and even joyful interpretations of pop. Although most Berry Heads are very familiar with at least one member of this talented and dynamic trio, we are so excited for The Sweet Water Warblers to make their debut on the Strawberry stage this Spring.

For 30 years, Mumbo Gumbo has been one of Northern California’s most celebrated bands, releasing nine albums of original music and performing thousands of shows for devoted fans of all ages. This group of seven plus musicians have received numerous awards for their “genre-bending Americana” stew of sound, and for their years of support to charitable and community organizations. Mumbo Gumbo is no stranger to Strawberry and we are so happy for them to return for Spring 2020.
