Artist Lizz Porter creates the designs digitally and then cuts/engraves them on her lasers. Porter uses a mix of traditional woodworking and finishing processes, such as routers, cutting, sanding, assembly, paint and finishes. Traditional woodworking is used for frames, backers, and the pieces to engrave. She uses both solid and plywood materials, with occasional mixed media for some art pieces, including acrylic, leather, and stone.
