THE STRAWBERRY WAY: A HOW-TO GUIDE FOR 2024

The Strawberry Way is kindness, cooperation, and consideration. Please read the reminders below to ensure a fun and safe Spring 2024 Strawberry Music Festival for everyone.

Please bring your own reusable water bottle to the Spring 2024 Strawberry Music Festival!

We are eliminating the sale of and internal utilization of single-use plastics at the festival and need your help to make this happen. Refer to the lovely Strawberrians above to see how it’s done.

There are numerous potable water spigots throughout camp, and filtered water stations will be available in at least four convenient locations across the Fairgrounds to keep you hydrated and healthy. See your Festival Map (also included in Gate Handout) to find a filtered water station near you.

Please remember the following guidelines for bicycles at the Spring 2024 Strawberry Music Festival.

1. Bikes are not allowed on the Music Meadow or in the Food Court.

2. Only ride bikes on designated pathways.

3. Please, for the love of all things Strawberry, wear your helmet. It is legally required by California state law (Cal. Veh. Code § 21212) for those under the age of 18 to wear a helmet—especially on state property.

If your bike is of the electronic persuasion, please note we will enforce a speed limit of 5 mph for everyone.

Select Strawberry Staff will be allowed to use their bikes in otherwise prohibited areas. We will ensure their bikes are easily identifiable.

ALSO: Mobility devices are allowed but will be treated similarly to cars—as in, please don’t drink and scoot. Segways, hoverboards, and other electronic non-mobility devices are not allowed.

We have spent a considerable amount of time working to improve this year’s entry procedure to ensure that it is comfortable, fun, and—above all else—safe for everyone involved.

This entry procedure is the same procedure described in the letter you received with your tickets and only applies to those arriving on Wednesday. If you plan to arrive after your arrival and/or entry times on Wednesday, please note this reminder is for the eager beavers.

Please do not arrive early OR line up/park on McCourtney Road.

If you arrive 30 minutes early, we will send you down the road to wait in a parking lot. However, if you come 10 minutes early, we will graciously guide you to the lane that will be serviced last. Please do not create a hazardous or uncourteous situation by lining up or parking along McCourtney Road prior to the approved arrival time stated on your ticket.

Everyone who arrives at or after the arrival/pre-banding time on your ticket will be processed and banded first and then, and only then, will the lane for those who arrived early be processed and banded.

We will also have more signage this year to help advertise this new rule, but we leave it to you to understand that we are more strict about this than ever. Please arrive at or after the arrival/pre-banding time listed on your ticket. This applies to all staff, vendors, volunteers, and patrons.

Musical guests Cactus Bob and Prairie Flower will be serenading attendees during the wait. Please tune your radios to 88.3 FM for live reporting from Hog Ranch Radio.

Only service animals are allowed, as defined by the ADA. Pets and emotional support animals are not granted admittance. Persons found on-site with a non-service animal will be escorted off the festival grounds but may return without the animal. Strawberry Music, Inc. reserves the right to refuse service to any individual whose conduct poses a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals or service animals.

As we have in previous years, we will adhere to a strict service animal policy. Service animals will be banded at the Box Office or Command Post by a member of our Safety & Security Staff. After the service animal has been credentialed, the owner will not likely be approached again unless the animal causes a problem. It is a crime to misrepresent a pet as a service animal (California Penal Code 365.7 PC).

The only non-service animals we allow at the Strawberry Music Festival can be seen in the provided photo above. 😉 🍓

Thank you for reading, and we’ll see you at the festival in a few days!
