It all started in 1989 at the age of 14. I went up to camp Mather and was delighted by the trees and the kind of people and of course the music. It was just my scene! Fast forward about 20 years & I started bringing my son. As the years went by, I started bringing more and more family. We always camped in the same spot, and we always camped together. Now my son Avery is about to bring his own baby to Strawberry for the first time in 2021. No matter what happened during the year, we always looked forward to Strawberry for our reunion and an escape. I not only work for Strawberry, but my family has volunteered for many years. We take great honor in our participation at the Strawberry music festival, and we look forward to many years to come. Camp members include Becky, Avery, Emma, Chris, Josh, Jessie, Dianne, and Alyssa.
We have so many friends and local musicians that we support as we “Jam Surf” from camp to camp and stage to stage in between work shifts! Our camp is our “chill out” place under the stars!
