Lauded for story and sense of place, her performances are praised for capturing the audience. A descendant of Cornish miners who sang in the mines of Cornwall and Grass Valley, CA, Hosking grew up with a deep regard for folk music and the power of the voice.

Sean Feder is Hosking’s longtime partner in song and is a consummate accompanist on dobro, banjo, guitar and voice.
