Artist Nicole Beaudoin ties her designs using artificial sinew, rubber bands, hemostats, amongst other materials. She uses direct-application of liquid procion fiber reactive dyes, then batch wraps the fabrics in newspaper & plastic in the sun, before finally washing out the dyes. her crochet hats are made with yarn and a 1/4" poly tubing for the brims.
