One of the best parts of Strawberry? The myriad chances to play music, to jam with old and new friends, and to hone techniques and skills. All Music Workshops meet at the Loadin’ Chute unless otherwise noted.

Fiddle for Adults with Wendy Wendt
Bring a recording device and music stand.

Learn to Jam!
Jamvangelist Kim Alexander shares tips for joining jams, making music, and singing with others. Learn new songs and old favorites! All instruments, ages, and levels welcome.

Guitar Tips and Tricks
Learn how to play rhythm and melody parts as performing songwriter Mokai and band sideman Ken Rabiroff share their techniques and styles that bring depth to any jam circle. All ages and levels welcome.

 

How to Play the Accordion
Michael Gutin covers the basics and simple playing techniques of the accordion. Some accordions provided.

Your Mighty Magic Ukulele
Local Singer/Songwriter Tristan Berlund will teach fun and easy songs in this interactive workshop for beginners to intermediate skill levels.

Songwriting Sessions
Session One — Prompts to shape into song ideas.
Session Two — Story elements to add life to your lyrics.

Dobro Workshop with Mike Witcher
Learn slide guitar from this talented and passionate artist. Mike can help you achieve your goals.

All-Camp Jam
At the Strawberry Way Station
Join the Learn to Jam! Band in this camp jam for all ages and levels. Experience taking leads and the magic of playing songs with people you’ve never met! Bring a chair and your instrument.
