HOG RANCH RADIO
The Hog operates as a low power FM radio station which exists only at the Strawberry Music Festivals. Besides transmitting close to all of the live music from the Main Stage, the Hog’s mission is to reflect the spirit and the sounds of the Strawberry community back to itself. In addition to remote broadcasts, which include the Band Scramble, the Breakfast Club, Play Stage performances, and special Camp Jams, we also utilize the Hog to keep our audience safe and informed throughout the festival.
If you’d like to see how pirate radio works at the festival, take the Hog tour on Saturday morning. Don’t forget to stop by the Hog tent to purchase a one of a kind Hog Ranch Radio T-Shirt.
AMY'S ORCHID LOUNGE
Amy’s Orchid Lounge is a festival highlights for 21+ Strawberrians, encouraging folks to keep the music going. If you can’t make it to Ponderosa Hall, worry not—Hog Ranch Radio broadcasts the performances every night.
Tickets for Amy’s Orchid Lounge can be purchased for $10 on-site at Hog Ranch Radio each day of the show when the Music Meadow opens.
We will post the schedule for Amy’s later in the season. The lineup will be announced here, on our website, and through our email.
PICKIN' PORCH
Ever wonder where the music comes from between Main Stage acts? The Pickin’ Porch features short sets of 15 minutes from a variety of performers. This special stage keeps the music going!
BAND SCRAMBLE
Camp musicians gather at 11:00am on the first day of the festival to kick off the weekend.
Musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments and get randomly blended into a band! Each group has one hour to come up with a band name, two songs, a joke, and create a Hog Radio Station ID. After the hour of practice is up, get ready for a live show that will broadcast on the radio!
The champion is chosen by audience response and will take home silly prizes and bragging rights. It’s a fun event to see in person OR hear live on Hog Ranch Radio while setting up camp. Sign-ups take place on the first day of the festival at 11:00 am. Performance and broadcast is at 1:00 pm.
BREAKFAST CLUB
The Hog’s typical broadcast day begins with the Breakfast Club on in the mornings, starting on the first day of the festival. Head on down to the Breakfast Club for homemade morning music live or enjoy it on the Hog Ranch Radio with your morning coffee at camp. Anyone can perform at the Breakfast Club and earn a free breakfast while doing so!
NEW IN 2025! A favorite Strawberry tradition, Breakfast Club’s “Sing for Your Breakfast” is now easier to sign up for than ever! Sign ups are now available here on our website! While Thursday’s performances will be scheduled online exclusively,you can still visit Hog Ranch Radio the day before the show, starting when the Music Meadow opens, to sign up.
Breakfast Club is CASH only. ATMs are available on-site.
THE REVIVAL
Strawberry brings you the Revival from 9:00am-11:00am on Sunday morning. The Revival is a celebration of music and the human spirit. A great way to kick off the last day of the festival, the Revival is best enjoyed in person, but you can always stay in bed and hear it on Hog Ranch Radio. The Revival begins with a Strawberry Storyteller spinning berry beautiful yarn and proceeds to showcase festival favorites with a special reverence. Stick around after the Revival to enjoy the Kids’ Parade.
