We (Dan, Candy, Danica and Ladd Forde) have been coming from Aspen, CO to Strawberry since 1994. On one of the trips, our car broke down and we had to rent a car while we paid for a new transmission. It cost a pretty penny but we made it there. That's when the Forde Camp became "Camp-a-FORDE-it"! Sometimes we host a "Rum 'n Booty Pirate Party" on one of the days during the festival. Strawberry is one of our MOST happy places!
